Dornfeld for Police Commission
Sharon Dornfeld is running for re-election for The Ridgefield Board of Police Commissioners. In my mind there is no better candidate for this position. I have known Sharon for over 40 years. In all the years I have known her she has demonstrated a consistency in ethical and moral judgements in both her private and public life. Sharon has been a Child Advocacy attorney for 4 decades and has continually provided her clients expertise and dogged determination to do what is fair and just for her clients. As a former adjunct professor of Family Law at Quinnipiac University, Sharon earned the respect and admiration of her law students as well as her colleagues. Sharon is a 40-year resident of Ridgefield and is committed to her town and community. A longtime public servant, she brings her integrity and knowledge of the law to all her volunteer positions. Sharon has worked tirelessly on the plan for the new Public Safety Building with the knowledge that this project will help to increase operational efficiency and enhance the safety and wellness of Ridgefield’s first responders and in turn, Ridgefield residents. As the current Chair of the Police Commission, Sharon has earned a reputation as a fair and principled leader. Re-electing Sharon will ensure the Police Commission continues to have diligent, knowledgeable and conscientious leadership. Early voting begins October 20th. Whenever you choose to vote, please join me in voting Row A for Sharon Dornfeld.
