Vote Row A: Angela Rice brings 14+ years in education plus PTA leadership to ensure every student can thrive

To the Editor:

I am writing to encourage all Ridgefield residents to join me in enthusiastically voting for Angela Rice for Board of Education this November. I’ve worked closely with Angela as part of the Branchville Elementary PTA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Ridgefield Joint Council of PTAs. I can confidently say that her professional experience, team spirit, and passion for delivering quality education to every student is second to none.

Both Angela’s breadth of experience as a parent and PTA president, and her 14+ years as a teacher and administrator ensure she will effectively collaborate with all board members to meet the needs of our students while balancing the practical and financial challenges facing the BOE. Angela is someone that I would want to hire as a colleague. She knows how to take a goal and make it reality through dogged enthusiasm and effective pragmatism. She will work tirelessly to provide the high-quality education that defines Ridgefield as a town where all students can thrive. I am thrilled to endorse her candidacy. Join me in voting for Angela and her running mates on Row A November 4th.

Sincerely,

Stacey Gifford, Ph.D.
