Experienced educator, volunteer, and PTA leader, Angela is passionate, principled, and ready to serve.
Educator & Volunteer: Angela Rice for BOE
I am proud to endorse my friend and colleague, Angela Rice, as a candidate for the Ridgefield Board of Education.
I have had the privilege of working alongside Angela for several years, both as PTA Co-Presidents of Branchville Elementary School and as members of the Ridgefield PTA Council. In every role, Angela has shown herself to be a leader, an advocate, and someone who is deeply committed to the betterment of children and their education.
Angela brings a unique perspective as both an educator and a substitute teacher. She understands firsthand the needs of students, teachers, and families. At the same time, she has spent countless hours volunteering in our schools —serving as a PTA Co-President for the PTA Council and before that at Branchville, leading committees, and supporting a wide range of student-centered initiatives. She also sits on the Education Advisory Committee at A.C.T. of CT connecting students with the performing arts. Angela gives her time and energy generously, always with the goal of making Ridgefield’s schools the best they can be.
Beyond her experience, it is Angela’s character that makes her exceptional. She is decisive and passionate, yet she listens with an open mind and respects differing opinions. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and she does so with integrity and respect. She is supportive of those around her and truly gives of herself every day to this community.
Ridgefield would be fortunate to have Angela’s leadership and dedication on the Board of Education. I encourage you to join me in voting for Angela Rice.
Sincerely,
Lorraine Catalano
