Re-elect Rettger for BOF
Ridgefield is fortunate to have the services of Mike Rettger on the Board of Finance. I strongly endorse his candidacy and encourage town residents to re-elect Mike on November 4th.
Mike has served on the Board of Finance for several years and is currently the Chair of that Board. During his tenure the Board has prepared and managed responsible budgets that address the town’s needs and provide for the future, while managing to keep tax rate increases less than the rate of inflation.
Mike is well qualified for the position, with literally decades of private sector experience as a Chief Operating Officer (including responsibility for financial operations). He also has a remarkable depth of experience in local town operations. I have worked with Mike on the most recent Charter Revision Commission as well as on the Form of Government Committee and know him to be hard working, reliable, and knowledgeable, with attention to detail and a practical, common sense approach to challenges of all kinds. Mike and his wife are long-time residents who care deeply about our town. Ridgefield’s Board of Finance is in good hands with Mike Rettger.
