Riebling for Police Commission
For years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching football alongside Steve Riebling. Coaching reveals a lot about someone’s character; how they treat people, how they handle challenges, and how they lead. What I’ve seen from Steve is a man who is fair, hardworking, and deeply committed to others.
Steve is a family man who leads by example. He believes in holding people accountable while making sure they feel supported and respected. On the field, that means pushing players to give their best while never losing sight of their growth as individuals. In leadership, it means balancing toughness with fairness and always putting the good of the community first.
Professionally, Steve brings nearly three decades of experience as a respected criminal defense and family law attorney. He has earned recognition for his expertise, but more importantly, for his integrity and dedication to justice. That perspective of fairness, accountability, and respect is exactly what we need guiding Ridgefield’s approach to public safety.
What sets Steve apart is that he lives his values. He is not only an attorney but also a neighbor, a coach, and a community member who consistently shows up for Ridgefield. He understands that strong policing is about more than enforcement; it’s about building trust, fostering respect, and ensuring equity for all.
I know firsthand that Steve will bring his experience, his integrity, and his heart for this community to the Board of Police Commissioners. That’s why I strongly endorse Stephen Riebling and encourage Ridgefield voters to support him on Row A on November 4th.
